Just returned from a long weekend break at the Grey Willow Yurts.

We stayed in Yabin 2 with our 6 yr old and 3 yr old kids, and we all thoroughly loved every second. Yes, we had rain on and off but I can honestly say it didn't dampen our stay one bit.

The yabins are incredibly cosy, spacious, comfortable and clean. Plus, the amenities block has everything you need. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless and hot water was constantly available.

We loved our stay so much, we were so sad to leave. We are 100% returning again next year and can't wait. And, we will be highly recommending it to our family and friends to stay there.

Thank you Peter for being the perfect host. See you next year! ☺

Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay!
We booked a relaxing break away for my boyfriend's brithday in early February. The yurt was amazingly crafted and so cosy and we could not get over how incredible the stars were at night!!
We enjoyed getting local produce and cooking on the log burner! Peter is very knowledgable on the area and recommended some lovely places to us (you have to try Route 66!!) Little Darwin is so cute - I want a Beagle!!
We cannot recommend you highly enough - this break is something everyone should try and we are telling absolutely everyone about this place!! Remember your wellies!

Thank you so much!

Thank you Peter and Laura (and Darwin the Beagle) for making our stay so laid back, comfortable and memorable. The extra night we spent made us even more determined to come back as soon as we can.
We loved everything from the super cozy yurt to the self-sufficient facility block. Can't wait to come back, hopefully in October, and bringing the telescope for some of those light pollution free nights and sausages cooked on the camp fire.
Your yurts rock...

"Obviously, LOVED Pete & Laura! Very welcoming, the yurt felt like ours.
The yurt itself was delightful, and SO toasty warm.
Hearing the rain on canvass is such a lovely sound, made all the better by being so cosy."

"Fantastic location, nice and quiet but not to far from shops and attractions. Accommodation is beautiful, very cosy and well equipped (we did find our camping stove came in handy to get food cooked a little quicker than on the wood burner). Staff were very friendly and willing to go out of their way to make our stay as relaxed and easy as possible. Overall a great country get away!! "

Better late than never, stayed in a Yurt October 2012. Although it rained everyday which was accompanied by mist, we had a great time and really enjoyed the novelty/coziness of the Yurt. Rec'd a warm welcome when we arrived and were shown the ropes. The yurts were spacious and well equipped I like the idea of no electricity in the Yurt as it gave a sense of cutting off from the outside world with the occasional Radio 4 session!! One thing which i found at time of stay is tht the futon mattress sagged a bit between the slats making for a bit of a bumpy night so would take my camping mat in addition. But otherwise 10/10 am now considering another Yurting adventure and hopefully some drier weather this time!!

Hi Pete, Laura and the gorgeous Darwin,

Thank you so much for the most amazing family experience. We have just had the most fabulous 5 days staying in your Yurts. Everyone needs a yurt experience in their lives. The girls thoroughly enjoyed getting back to basics toasting marshmallows and cooking bacon on the campfire. The surrounding area is beautiful, particularly your recommendation of Beer.
The stars at night were amazing. We feel like we have been away for much longer than a few days and that is saying something with a 6 yr old, 4 yr old and 2 yr old dog!!!
Good luck with the fishing and hopefully we will get to book again when you re-open.

Thank you again for a fabulous holiday :)

The Cutcheys x

]Absolutely brilliant holiday[/b], really comfy and Pete and Laura were so welcoming and very helpful. We had a wonderful week, varied weather but that was fine as the crux and the yurt keep us warm and dry. We had plenty of fun at Lyme Regis, Axeminster, Honiton to name a few. We loved that we could have camp fires and BBQ's. The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth was fantastic and free! Axe Valley Bird and Animal Park was also great with the stars being the Meerkats.

We were lucky enough to have the clearest of skies to view the perseid meteor shower. It gave us quite a show.

Thanks so much to Pete and Laura and Darwin. look forward to coming back.

Absolutely superb yurt holiday, very comfortable and Peter very welcoming and helpful. We were looking for an easy 'camping' holiday and with 'yurting we got it! We had a wonderful few days, great weather and plenty of fun on the beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe. We had amazing camp fires with lots of melted marshmallows under the starlight skies.
Highly recommended, great value break, strongly recommend 'yurting', its a great relaxing holiday.
Thanks so much to Peter and Laura...we will be back!
