Whether you’re seeking an adventure at Go-Ape, a fun day out at AutoSpeed, a horse riding trek in the Blackdown hills or discovering the history of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, Devon has something to offer everyone.

Small and friendly riding school, approved by the British Horse Societ. Suitable for all ages from 4+ and abilities. Offering small group lessons or one-to-one private tuition from fully qualified and experienced instructors. Hacking also available around some local routes. Short oval motor racing is a fun day out for all. Race meetings usually consist of between 12 and 15 races. The stadium is only a short walk from Grey Willow Yurts.

Wildwood Escot has a great deal of outdoor fun to offer! Beautiful woodlands walk, a huge maze and interesting animals of wolves, lynx and wildcats, red squirrels and birds of prey to veiw.  If that wasn’t enough let the kids (and the big kids) explore the indoor soft play, outdoor adventure play, a 40M Zip Line, and a terrifying Tree-Top-Drop-Slide. 

Axe Valley Wildlife park is a lovely small zoo, that welcomes small children and adults alike.
They house some unusual animals that are rare to see in many zoo, such as Serval Cats the a great gang of Lemurs!

For the the more adventurist type, head to Haldon hill for GO APE! A high-wire forest adventure. They have built giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the country’s best zip lines for you to enjoy! 

Haldon Forest Park has a range of walking and cycling trails to suit all abilities from the novice to the dare devils, as well as a cycle skills area, play park and a great cafe.  

The Fleet Air Arm Museum represents the flying arm of the Royal Navy. With four exhibition halls, over ninety aircraft and over 2 million records and 30,000 artefacts the Museum is the world’s second largest naval aviation Museum.

he Haynes Motor Museum holds over 400 amazing cars and bikes from nostalgic classics of the 50’s and 60’s, glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces to exciting super cars like the Jaguar XJ220, everything a car enthusiast could want.

Home of ‘We Bought a Zoo’ film. Join Ben, his family and the rest of his team at Dartmoor zoo and get up close to the animals they have on display.
