Grey Willow Yurts – Terms and Conditions.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking, the balance is required 4 weeks before the start of your stay. Bookings will be held for 24 hours for deposit to be received. Bookings that are less than 4 weeks away require full payment at the point of booking.
All prices are per Yabin (not per person). Additional baskets of wood are charged at £5/basket.
Currently, we can take payment via our website using Stripe, bank transfer, or Paypal (details available upon request).
For cancellations further than 4 weeks from the booking a 25% refund of the total amount is payable.
For cancellations less than 4 weeks from the booking no refund is payable.
We are happy to accept group bookings, which can include hen & stag parties, however we may ask for a refundable deposit of £100, which will be refunded at the end of the stay (via bank transfer or cheque within 7 days) providing no damages or additional costs have been incurred.
We ask guests to arrive after 2pm on the day of arrival, if you are unable to arrive before 8.30pm, please unpack quietly and we will greet you in the morning, there is a welcome leaflet of how to get started in your yurt. Departure is no later than 10am on the departure day stated.
The primary booking person must be over 18 years old at the time of booking.
The yurt should only be used by those identified by the the booking unless requested in advanced. You are responsible for the members of your party.
Smoking is not permitted in the yurt or any buildings. £50 fine for any person found doing so as in line with UK Law.
Please leave your yurt tidy as you found it.
Please advise of all breakages/damages as soon as possible, to replenish items before the following guests arrive. Guest are liable for all payment to replace items, however we are understanding of accidents and at our discretion we may waive the fee for small items.
We do ask that you respect the other guests onsite and our local residents and keep the noise down to a minimum. Just quiet stories around the campfire after 9pm please.
Fire safety advise must be adhered to; all yurts are equipped with log burners which can become very hot, please take the upmost care when they are in use. Please use the fire guards provided in all our yurts when in use.
Outside fires are allowed please use the same caution and keep fires small.
Fire wood and kindling is provided, wood cannot be taken from the surrounding trees and hedges.
Children must be supervised at all times in the yurt and on site.
Well behaved dogs are more than welcome, but we do ask that you keep them on a lead at all times while on site to avoid disturbance to other guests. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if we believe their dog is causing a disturbance.
In the unlikely event we cannot accommodate your stay due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a an opportunity to re-book your stay at a later date.
If at any point we deem the weather to present a potential risk to yourselves or our yurts we will reserve the right to cancel you stay and offer a refund for the remaining days of your stay, as a percentage of the total booking paid.
We disclaim any liability or losses or injury sustained by guests or their property except where negligence is on the part of ourselves.
Only one offer to be used at a time, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
COVID-19 – As per the governement repsonse to Covid-19:
Lead-party name must agree in writing on behalf of the whole party to the below terms before arriving on site.
A. If you have symptoms or have had a positive test conﬁrmed for Covid-19 up to 14 days before your stay, please contact us to cancel your booking. We will reschedule up to the year 2021, or give a refund (minus deposit) if proof is provided, e.g. a positive test result or medical note.
B. If you develop symptoms during your stay, please return home immediately and inform Peter and Laura Selhurst that you have had symptoms. We can then take the relevant steps to clean your cabin and keep all our staff and guests safe. In this event a partial refund will be given for your remaining days.
